After Jam Update - Quality of Life
🛠️ Quality of Life Update – Thanks for Playing!
Hey everyone!
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s checked out the game so far. It was made during a pretty tight deadline, but I had a lot of fun working on it—and it’s been even more fun seeing people actually play it!
After the jam ended, I went back and made a few small but meaningful updates based on feedback and just watching how people interacted with it:
✨ What’s New:
-
Progress is now saved! You won’t lose your place anymore—levels you’ve finished stay finished.
-
Typos begone. Fixed some spelling in the words you type.
-
Spaces are optional. You can now skip the spacebar and keep typing smoothly.
-
Extra buttons are ignored. Keys like Shift or Ctrl won’t trip you up anymore.
-
Tutorial skips if you’ve played before. No more repeat intros if you’ve already started the story.
The game’s still really simple—just typing and voiceover—but I’m happy with how it’s shaping up as a short narrative experience. If you’ve already played, thank you so much. If you haven’t yet, I hope you give it a try!
Appreciate you all đź’›

Awesome :) Great job. And congrats again.
I went back and removed most of the dodgy bits from my game and now to - gulp - turn it into something I wouldn't be embarrassed to market...
Kept found myself writing that a puzzle game needs a story like a fish needs a bicycle, but I think my inner struggling writer is going to try and prove me wrong (who doesn't like a bit of internal mental rivalry)
I think it would be a fun addition. I just finished playing your game and it is super fun. I got to level 8 before I stopped. Would be interesting to see what kind of story you could come up with for that kind of game. Probably something with the little guys
Thank you for the kind words, glad you liked it!
Yes I had some good ideas last night which I seem to have forgotten - fortunately I wrote them down in Obsidian on my phone - I've got cool sync mechanism going now with syncthing.
Do you think you'll build or expand further on your game?
